Date night is soooooo fun! Sometimes we all just get so wrapped up in our daily routines, that we don't actually plan for going out and spending some time with one another outside of our home. Lol. Don't get me wrong, we love to just be home bodies, watch tv, or chat over dinner that we've made together. That's always fun. But last weekend we decided to actually go out and make it a date night =) Fatty<3 worked overtime 2-8, but as soon as he got home, we headed out to P.Hill to watch Transformers. Movie was hella awesome. I really liked how they made it pretty funny. And Stephen and I kept drooling over how hot Megan Fox was in every scene. We both enjoyed the movie. Lol. Khailynn liked it too, because she was squirming and kicking for most of the movie. Or she was really startled by the movie sounds. Haha. We caught a late showing, and we got out around 12am. Lol. I'm hella old. Well I feel like it. Ever since being pregnant, I've gotten used to being in bed by 10pm. My bod just can't really handle being up so late.

I worked Sunday, and then headed out to Antioch to go swimming at Aunt Pam's house with the family. Enjoyed tons of mmm-mmm tri-tip and cupcakes and ice cream!!! It was great, got to see tons of family that I haven't seen in a while and visa versa, with my big belly and all. Swimming and being in the water was divine! The water took off all the weight off my joints and such. Haven't been that relaxed since gaining 25 lbs in these last 7 months. GD. And the weather has not been my cup of tea, btdubbs. Pregnant + heat = no like. Prenancy elevates my core temp as it is. So yeah. Can't wait to pop our baby out. Haha. Baby shower is in about 3 weeks. Been nesting so far andgetting atuff ready. Making room for her. I plan to start decorating soon too! I have an awesome idea for one of the walls =) oh, I can't wait! And I should soon make the husband setup her crib. But that will also make time go by even sloooooower, waiting to fill that crib and all with her. Lol. So far, I've made a nice spot for her things that we already have in the closet. And it's a pretty big walk in closet I must say, and it's half filled with her things. And we haven't even had her baby shower yet. GD. Well, I'm in the mood for some ice cream. Until next time loves.

Party Weekend.

Ho man, this weekend was full of excitement and celebration! It was nice, long, and very much needed. I mean, any type of family time is needed and always missed as soon as its not there. Saturday, I hung out with Meagan in the AM. Got breakfast, went to Vacaville and got our nails did and had lunch with her sister, Camio, whom I met for the very first time. She is hella gangster. LOL. No joke. She was hella sweet though. Girl with a tough exterior but is as sweet as pie. Just don't get on her bad side. Haha. And then before going back to where we came from, Meagan found me an ARBY'S!!!!! And bought 5 Arby Roast Beef's! Mmmm, they were hella tasty, and Fatty<3 sure appreciated them! We soon got back into Concord, since I was flying there in my Yaris, trying to get back hella fast so we could pick up Stephen at the casa to go all the way across town to Clayton to get our MASSAGES! Ho man, was my masseuse hella good at rubbing this pregnant bod of mine. LOL. She definitely did my body good. It was a $49 dollar expense well paid for! Meagan had a great time too, except her massage therapist was also a major talker. Haha. Talked her ear off. Which would definitely had irritated me, considering I'm at the spa to relax! Not get my ear talked off. Hey buddy! Just shut up and rub my bod down! LOL. Stephen had a gramma...so he wasn't quite happy. Haha. It was just ok he said. But that'll probably be my last massage till our baby hatches. It was quite hard to lay on my back even for a bit. She's getting so heavy, as soon as I'm on my back even for a few seconds, she settles right into a certain spot into my abdomin and it gets pretty uncomfortable.

...got ready for Granny's 80th birthday bash! It was at the Delta Breeze Club on the Travis Airbase. Everyone on my dad's side attended. It was great. She was so happy to see us all, made her cry =) She is the matriarch of our family. Had 6 kids of her own, helped raise 18 grandchildren, then went on to have 17 great grandchildren...soon to be 18 =) I love my granny. Our family is huge because of her, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Today was Neneng's grad. It was sooooooo long, probably because i was hungry, but great. Just seeing my little sister walk the stage made me so proud of her and I just couldn't help but cry! I love you Neng. Congrats. This is just the beginning! We then went out to dinner and the baby and I ate 4 plates full! HO MAN. LOL. And this is why I'm blogging. Because I'm trying to digest and relax for a bit before I gotta do laundry. Haha. And that was my fun filled weekend. Hella busy. It just keeps getting busier and busier, like I'm getting bigger and bigger.

Until next time loves.

Belly bumpy

I am getting bigger and bigger by the minute! Lol. Well not really. More so, by the week. And the bigger and bigger I get, the clumsier I'm also becoming. Which totally sucks because when I drop stuff, it takes me a million years to pick up whatever I dropped and then a million more years to get back up. But I'm just going through the motions of being pregnant. I am currently about 29 weeks prego and definitly getting restless already. Haha.

The other day, Stephen and I were cuddling in bed and she was hella active! And this was the first time Stephen got to actually feel her kick. It was so much fun. We were just laying in bed with his hand on my tummy and she gave his hand 2 really hard kicks! He was so surprised! I was actually pretty surprised myself, because she kicked right into the palm of his hand. Just wait till she's here...

We finallygot our new car! We decided on the Yaris 5-door Hatchback. I think it totally fits me! Its my egg car =) Tiny and round, just like me! Haha. But its great to finally have a fully reliable car. So within the first few days of having it, I decided to drive it to Vacaville with a few friends and do some shopping, which was totally cool. Even though I didn't really buy anything, but driving down there was totally fun. And they chipped in for gas.

So right now, I'm just waiting for time to pass so I can finally go on maternity leave. Haha.

And until next time loves.

Happy Bunny Day.

Today was amazzzzzzing.

Finally a whole weekend day to spend with my husband. Since I'm always working on the weekends, we only spend time in the evenings while he has the whole weekend off. I finally get the chance to sleep in, and I don't. My bod is just so used to my regular routine of getting up around 8am.

We got up and decided to get ready and grab breakfast. We went to Denny's and they were so rude. Not that I ever expect phenomenal service, but at least serve us drinks before you serve the 2 groups who were seated after us. So we decided to just get up and leave and give our business elsewhere. We ended up going to Pho in P.Hill and then headed to my father-in-law's place for Easter. Got to hang out with Stephen's nephew, Elias before he headed out to spend Easter with his daddy. We hung out for a but and then Stephen and I decided to go watch the NEW HANNAH MONTANA movie!!!! It was so good, I totally cried! Lol. And Fatty<3>

And then we went back to the in-law's and had Easter/Tim's bday dinner. It was soooooooo good. And Khailynn decided to give me one heck of a acrobatic show right after I ate. She was wigglin' and kicking so much. It felt funny to just feel her do that. Its like there was an alien in my body.

I'm totally excited for next weekend. I put in some vacation time at work and took a total of 4 days off. Stephen and I are going camping with Josh, Alaina, and their family up towards Modesto. I got a bathing suit and pulled out my summer dresses from our storage boxes. I have yet to try them on though, and I am a little hesitant, since it feels like my belly is getting bigger by the day. Lol.

Until next time loves.

Its a GIRL!!!!

Khailynn Jade Bartlett.

Stephen and I are so ecstatic. I can't wait for her to come into this world. And she's already growing so fast in her uterine home =) Soon enough, she'll be here and crying so loud, I'll be wishing she was still in my tummy. Lol. Everyone is so supportive and getting ready for our baby. Our family is excited and the day is getting closer and closer to our baby shower. We're slowly getting our place ready and looking for a crib. Though I have a feeling she won't be sleeping in it very much. Haha. But ya never know.

She started kicking on Saturday =) It felt so weird to feel her tiny kicks to my bod. At first it felt like gas or something, but then it happened a few times afterwards, non-gassy feeling. Haha.

Work is all the same. Still playing the same bills and what not. Though we did get our state taxes back and we're going to be getting a new car =) MY CAR! Whooo! I think I want a Scion. Those box cars, I've always wanted one. And my birthday is coming up in 2 weeks! I want to go camping =)

Until next time...

Time is definitely flying, I love it though.

The days go are going by so fast, I guess mostly bacause I'm constantly doing things besides work day to day.

On Saturday, Stephen and I took our little brothers to Monster Jam in Oakland. We all totally had a blast! We took BART there and got to the coloseum around 630. We found our seats then went to concessions and bought stadium food. The boys asked if they could get tshirts, so we decided to all get tshirts. I spent $110 all together on shirts but it was well worth to see a big smile on the boys' face, Stephen included =) Stephen, Anthony and I all got Grave Digger shirts and Mayo got a cute little Batman shirt since that was the truck he really enjoyed watching.

During the whole monster truck show it was just nice to see how excited our brothers were. To hear them scream and laugh and seeing their facial expression when a truck would do an awesome stunt was priceless. It was a $300 outing well spent. And Stephen had such a great time, he practically lost his voice by the end of the night.

Today, I had my 18 week appointment. Stephen came with me and we got to listen to the baby's heartbeat! It was so exciting! Though I have heard the baby's hb already, having him hear it with me was really fun. Its another things that we can put into our baby memories together. And though I know there will be so much more to come, I just love putting these memories into the bank, so to speak. Haha.

Afterwards, Deter and Celeste came over and we ventured to Walnut Creek to go to the newly opened Cheesecake Factory! I always have such a blast with those two. They are truly thee best in company when it comes to food.

We then headed back to my casa for dessert and Celeste played us her new song and we harmonized a bit. Oh, how I totally miss our singing days together.

Next week Deter and I will be seeing Wicked in the city, which I've been totally stoked for for the last month and the week after that Stephen and I are going to our extensive ultrasound. So that's definitely something I'm looking forward to. Especially since we get to find out the sex of the baby.

Until next time loves.

A bridge over troubled waters.

Life will throw you lemons, and all you can do is accept it, and make some lemonade while you're at it. No one in my entire life has ever told me that life was going to be an easy journey. And I've never expected it to be. I grew up with one parent raising me, until I was about 8 years old, then my mom decided she would come back into me and my sister's life. Starting from kinder, my dad taught me everything there is to know about staying positive even as life seems to get rougher and tougher. And do it with a smile. It will get better...he used to tell me. Pangako, or in english, PROMISE.

There are many around me, who are choosing to end their life. In two days time, I've heard of three suicides. Its sad to see what peoples friends and family are going through because that one person decided to end it. Time is honestly, too short. And there are many wonderful things to do in this life. You just gotta find it.
